How It Works Using patented (MP)² technology, Venus Legacy utilizes multi-polar radio frequency and Pulsed Magnetic fields which produce a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the skin. What To Expect Venus Legacy™ treatments are non-invasive and painless, with many patients comparing the treatment to a hot-stone massage! Should I Be Prepared to Experience Any Pain or Discomfort? Absolutely not! All treatments are non-invasive and pain-free. Patients have compared the treatments to that of a hot-stone massage.
How Many Treatments Are Needed? Some patients report seeing improvement after one treatment and most patients report seeing results within four treatments. However, for you to obtain optimal results the number of treatments varies depending on the area of the body you are targeting.
Please note it is not uncommon for patients to report seeing an improvement in their skin up to three months after the series of treatments has been completed.
What Do I Need to Do in Preparation for a Treatment? Be prepared to come in and relax in a pleasant and warm environment. Some patients even find themselves taking a nap during treatment.
Is there any downtime? With minimal downtime and minimal discomfort, a treatment to one area can take less than 30 minutes allowing you to enjoy the immediate and long term benefits shortly after a treatment.
Can You Tell Me What to Expect During a Treatment? A treatment gel will be applied to your skin by one of our technicians while you lie down comfortably on a treatment bed. The gel is applied to the skin to help the applicator glide on your skin’s surface. Once we have selected the correct sized applicator, we will begin to apply consistent and smooth movements to the surface of your skin. These movements will feel like a warm massage. Patients are encouraged to close their eyes and take this time to relax and enjoy some quiet “me” time.
What Will I Feel Like Afterward? The treated area will feel warm and you relaxed. It’s common to experience a slight pink discoloration to your skin. The warm feeling and pinkish color will go away within an hour and it is often described as being a “glow to the skin”. there is no downtime to this procedure and we encourage exercising as soon as possible after your Venus Legacy treatment.
How Long is a Treatment Session? This again varies depending on the targeted area but treatments take approximately 30 to 40 minutes per area.
